Alex Ramirez, Celestia Artistic Director, was honored by the Horsham Township Council, August 9, 2017 for his guidance of Celestia service throughout the community & subsequent to Celestia Arts receiving the Award Plaque July 12, 2017.
Mr. Alex Ramirez, our Director for the last nine years, has now moved on to achieve other long held goals.
We miss him with our whole heart !

Celestia is a Horsham based community singing group. Founded in the year 2000 by Karen Fitzpatrick & Mimi Drummond, it has been under the direction of
Mr. Alex Ramirez since 2008.
The group is a non-profit organization that provides an outlet for community singers to rehearse music and grow in their love and understanding of music and the art of performing.
Celestia reaches out to the general community though out-reach concerts at area retirement communities and nursing homes as well as performing concerts for the public. Celestia is a unique singing group in that it performs music of all genres including pop, Broadway, holiday, barbershop and patriotic music. It welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. As a group they work as a team to prepare music for performance and share it with the public.
Celestia is always looking for new venues in the area to perform in, as well as opportunities to give back to the community by participating in community events. They hope to continue to cultivate the arts and support the local community for many years to come.
